Since 1969, ISU Chemical has helped shape Korea’s chemical industry.
We were the first company in Korea to develop Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), the main ingredient in household detergents. From there, we grew—developing polymer additives, specialty solvents, and other materials that found real-world applications across industries.
We’ve never stopped moving forward.
From pharmaceuticals to solid-state battery materials, we continue to explore new areas, all with one goal in mind: making everyday life more practical, and more comfortable.
In 2018, we took what we’ve learned from decades of plant operation and business development and stepped into something new: Green Bio.
We began with greenhouse projects in China and Australia, then expanded to vertical farms in Vietnam and Korea—turning rooftops and unused building spaces into productive growing areas.
Today, ISU Chemical’s Green Bio Division has built out the essential parts of the smart farming value chain—from designing and building farms to supplying equipment and developing data-driven systems.
Our goal is simple: to help create farm environments that are predictable, scalable, and sustainable—real answers to real needs in agriculture.
